 Isu penundaan pelaksanaan pemilihan umum (aka. Pemilu) kembali mencuat dan menggemparkan publik sejak dinyatakan dalam putusan Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Pusat dengan nomor register 757/Pdt. G/2022/PN Jkt. Pst. yang dibacakan pada hari Kamis, 2 Maret 2023 lalu. Akar dari kemunculan putusan tersebut berawal dari gugatan yang dilayangkan oleh Partai Prima, sebab Partai Prima merasa dirugikan atas tidak lolosnya partai tersebut dalam seleksi administrasi yang diadakan oleh KPU. Sementara itu, KPU akan menempuh upaya hukum banding terhadap putusan PN Jakarta Pusat tersebut.
